I'm starting my trip across the county again. I stopped at Death Valley for a couple of days. I didn't have the experience I was hoping for. The flowering was supposed to be extra nice. I could only get a non-hookup site, so that limited my stay to a couple of days. On the day that I was going to ride my scooter to find the good flowering, it was too windy. I don't normally let a little wind stop me, but the park ranger, while making his rounds to warn people of the expected high winds, told me I should park my scooter right next to the RV so it wouldn't get blown over, and he said there was a specific motorcycle warning.
My next stop was Hurricane Utah. The pictures below are from The Red Cliffs Recreation Area. |
