On the way back from the east coast, I only made one "adventure" stop. The rest of the stops were KOA's just for the purpose of resting between drives.
My stop at the Grand Canyon was a little late in the season, so I ran into snow and cold. The first day was so cold and snowy, all I did was take a short walk around the campground. The next day was fantastic, as you will see in the pictures below. It was cold, and late in the season, but there were a lot of people on the trails. I wouldn't want to be there during peak season. |
